A music night exploring the murkier end of the bass spectrum.
MÜCHA
Amanda Butterworth, alias Mücha is a sound artist from London, UK. An electronic producer, DJ, composer and vocalist.
Mücha's music was born whilest studying art and immersing herself in the UK rave scene at the turn of the millennium. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist and DJ since her late teens, she combines her songwriting craft with her longstanding interest in electronic music to explore innovative ways of working with her voice.
Her releases to date for her native London’s Blank Editions, Misc., Broken 20, and most recently her albums ‘Fall’ and ‘Hello Caller’, on Frequency Domain paint a picture of continuous expansion- sonic, thematic and methodological.
Performing, she cut her teeth at the legendary Bomb club in Nottingham and has had shows at Cafe Oto, ikletek, Corsica Studios and Alexander Palace (DJing for Sleaford Mods) in London. She has been featured by tastemakers such as NTS and The Quietus.
Her favourite thing in the world is playing Drum and Bass sets, and she’s very good at it.
FJELL
With a background in playing drums and bass guitar in several bands, Fjell started producing and DJ-ing jungle, drumfunk and drum&bass actively since 2011. Heavily influenced by cinematic soundtracks and 90s jungle, Fjell’s productions are recognizable by atmospheric synths, smooth subs, syncopated breaks and arpeggios, occasionally flirting with a Roland 606, 707 or 808 drum machine. His releases can be found on labels such as Next Phase Records and Future Disorder with some independent releases on the side.
Since 2018 Fjell is one of the four DJs hosting the monthly Bigup Oslo concept, with whom he has a residency at the renowned nightclub ‘Jaeger’ since 2020.

ROSS B
The curator. His sets draw from various different DnB eras from mid/late 90s to present day whilest aiming for a coherent vibe. Styles include Techstep, Jungle, Footwork & Halftime. He likes it murky, funky and techy.
Ross B was originally a DnB DJ in the 90s in Brighton, UK and has now been active on the Oslo DnB scene for a few years playing Big Up, Skankin Oslo, Sub Sessions, Fundament and Basskjeller events in the city.
